We are looking for someone to take on the role of Medical Scientific Liaison at Salugea, who has the appropriate qualifications and experience to address the medical profession; the following is therefore required:
- A degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Information in medicinal and health product sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Nutrition Sciences or Herbal Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Technologies, Sciences and Technologies of Industrial Chemistry, Biotechnology or a similar qualification.

We are looking for a person who is in tune with Salugea's corporate values and who is able in turn to pass them on, communicating transparency, quality and attention to detail.
The person will mainly be responsible for:
- Managing medical-scientific information and promotion with doctors, pharmacists, nutritionists and other qualified professionals
- Mapping the territory and identifying specialist doctors in the assigned area
- Working with the sales network in order to boost sales in pharmacies
- Taking full care of the relationship with the medical profession (specialist doctors and general practitioners)
- Organising their own work to achieve the assigned objectives and completing the related reporting
- Taking part in trade fairs, conferences and training courses
- Providing training services for doctors, pharmacists, nutritionists and other specialist contacts
The following knowledge is therefore required:
- Technical medical-scientific background
- Previous experience as a medical scientific liaison or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of the assigned area and relationships with the local medical profession
- Excellent knowledge of the main IT systems, Office, internet and email, iPad or tablet
- Experience in understanding and interpreting clinical studies and excellent knowledge of PubMed and databases of scientific studies
- Experience in producing advanced reports
The candidate must have their own car and hold (or be willing to open) a VAT number.
Priority will be given to candidates who show:
- Knowledge of herbal medicine and nutraceuticals
- Previous experience as a medical scientific liaison of at least three years
- Excellent knowledge of English
